Emmy award winning actor Mandy Patinkin (Chicago Hope) returns to the role of Special Agent Jason Gideon as he leads his crack team of psychological profilers in the attempt to stop some of the U.S.'s most devastating crime sprees.

Focusing on the criminal rather than the crime, the unique team of mix-matched geniuses race against the clock, painstakingly compiling clues to the behavioural patterns of ruthless murderers, rapists and arsonists.
